Yep. Matrix, specifically using the web and desktop Element client. https://ems-docs.element.io/books/element-support/page/exporting-messages
You can also select and delete several messages at once, but the easiest method to nuke a chat is to kick/ban all other members from it, leave it yourself and let it sit for a week until servers delete the room and all it’s contents permanently by default.
It also has a built in sticker library. If your want to build your own, custom sticker packs on Matrix have different guides depending on the app your’re using. Here’s some stuff on that. https://matrix.squirrel.rocks/stickers/

Videos@lemmy.world•Can someone please suggest me a decentralised/Blockchain platform where l can upload my videos pertaining to culture, and share them as links ? I used to do this on Dailymotion, but now they'reEnglish
1·6 days agoJust use Peertube or Odysee. But blockchain has never been useful for anything other than keeping a verifiable and more or less tamper-proof common registry in a decentralized manner. In other words, transactions. Trying to use it for everything, everywhere, all at once (loved the movie) as they’re now trying with gen AI won’t lead anywhere. And if what you meant is you want a video platform that pays in crypto you’ll probably find something like DLive still lingers.
I share this point of view, but from what I gather it seems to just be a shortcut to get the PGP setup done easier. https://www.openpgp.org/software/autocrypt/ I guess it could be a start for someone who’s new to this as long as they can export their keys and use them elsewhere later. There’s also work being done to have PQC in PGP if you’re interested. https://lists.gnupg.org/pipermail/gnupg-announce/2025q1/000489.html Pretty cool stuff.

Piracy: ꜱᴀɪʟ ᴛʜᴇ ʜɪɢʜ ꜱᴇᴀꜱ@lemmy.dbzer0.com•Should i pirate EVERYTHING or only things that i bought, but do not own?English
5·3 months agoThe more you pirate the more hyped and disappointed you’ll be about things you’d otherwise never have known about. It’s a double edged blade. Your criteria grows. You spend less on highly advertised products and more on niche things most haven’t heard of. But when pirating as an act of boycott you also risk growing attachment to the product or franchise you’re pretending to sabotage. So if it sounds ethically correct to pirate something instead of purchasing it to harm someone in the production chain, don’t do either. Most people will just preorder a collector’s edition for another of their releases as soon as they forget or relax about what upset them. Piracy isn’t theft, it’s generosity, accessibility and preservation.

👌 Second this. Owning a Pixel grants more options, just stick to whatever you’re more comfortable with. But don’t pay attention to anything anyone linked to GrapheneOS says on social media or forums. They’re very toxic, constantly defame other projects and never accept feedback. You’ve got a decent comparison on Eylenburg’s site. I’d go for Graphene on Pixels but going through all the new settings might be too much for some people who will feel more at home using any of the other options. CalyxOS will be out of service for presumably six months though.

Privacy@lemmy.dbzer0.com•EU proposal to scan all private messages gains momentum
41·4 months agoClosed source software from a notoriously corrupt company and it’s encryption keys are not ever in users’ control. You should assume apps like that are already backdoored. Matrix/XMPP/Briar/SimpleX is probably the way to go. Either that or manage your own encryption methods, but take into account other info such as your contacts list can also be used against you.
Some users are mentioning SimpleX, which has some very good features, but for activism I’d really suggest Briar. Just scan each other’s QR codes to add all the needed contacts with no real names and create a mesh network through WiFi or Bluetooth connections between devices (no internet needed). If everyone is still bent on using Signal, whoever owns an Android phone should at least download the .apk from Molly.im. This version of the app is better suited for this.

Wait for the next big Steam sale and go wild.
