I agree, if you limit “phones” to “smart phones and portable computers”. There are reasons to give a kid a small, no internet dumbphone. But yes, don’t give kids unrestricted access to the family PC, and DEFINITELY dont give them their own.

Our problem as of now isnt how the leader is elected, it’s that he’s deliberately ignoring the restrictions placed on him, and is doing acts that were specifically given to other branches of government, overstepping bounds, etc., all while the other two branches do fuck all to stop it. We need people with spines in congress, but all of our politicians happen to be invertibrates.
