Deleted. Thanks for the reminder!
Same experience with bazzite.I had a very strange issue with packages completly gone after using LACT to experiment and managing to freeze my os.
TBH I realised immutable systems aren’t for me and I am not a linux noob, so I immediately went back to Arch and never looked back.
archinstall is amazing btw. Best installer by far IMHO. shit free, takes 30s to setup an arch system with great defaults. Nothing beats it for me.
Edit: for me someone using “I use void btw” would make more sense.
Why Lumo and not Lechat directly?

Flatpaks rule!

Apple managed to ruin the concept with something called “notarized” apps. A spit in everyones faces if you ask me.
Edit: typo

it is 100% reversibile on pixels made so far and since it’s only available for pixels…
Edit: Afaik there are no warranty issues if you flash stock rom before, which might make it harder if your hardware fails.
Thanks for sharing this. I removed it from my wishlist.

tell me you’ve never lived in Europe without telling me you’ve never lived in Europe.

in Spain , if only one out of x people in their family works, all the rest of the family members are insured for universal healthcare, as long as they are legal residents or citizens of course.
I bought this yesterday from perplexity.ai

I’ve had this discusion before after reading about it on wikipedia (i’m neither national, just curious).
Currently perplexity.ai says “Taiwan’s official name is Republic of China (ROC). This is the name used by the government that relocated to Taiwan after 1949, and it is still the constitutional title of the government based in Taipei. In practice, Taiwan is commonly referred to as Taiwan or the Taiwan authorities, while international organizations and some states use “Chinese Taipei” or ROC/Taiwan depending on context and diplomatic considerations. The situation is rooted in the historical split between the Republic of China (founded 1912 on the Chinese mainland) and the People’s Republic of China (PRC, established in 1949 on the mainland) and the ongoing “One China” framework that affects formal recognition and naming in various forums.”
Its looks like ROC came first, but i’m not sure why is everyone getting downvoted when they mention this name.
I’ve been using tuta for more than 3 years now, paid, and even though it has its drawbacks, it’s a good secure alternative to most providers nowadays.
I’ve had to deal with support a while back and even though they were not the fastest, they replied on a fairly timely manner.
I’m sorry to hear you’ve had a bad experience with them.

That is actually Fellon Flask!

Oh no, not this tech illiterate idiot again. Ocasionally he shows up in some threads just making a complete fool of himself.

best bullet time ever!
This immediately asks for an account. Not great honestly…
Lawnchair feels better, but some this is a completely separate project , it’s worth keeping an were on.

Yes, you can install the PAL version, however it’s not the same. Pal barely has any apps and Apple doesn’t “notarize” shit, so you’re still stuck with altstore/sidestore for any meaningful apps like youtube sponsorblock .
Apple found a way to circumvent the EU directive with this “notarized apps” shit. They are despicable.
You’re right, I used the link in the repo description: https://delightful.coding.social/delightful_fediverse_clients and it’s missing from there.
