It’s wild in 2025 when most people watch their content via streaming apps, or cable/satellite at the very least, that we’re still subject to the priorities of network affiliates broadcasting over rabbit ears when it comes to content. Broadcast TV and your local channel 4 affiliate has zero future. Who cares if Nexstar and Sinclair merge or not? They’re both doomed to ultimately fail.
The goal of Christianity is to convince Indo-Europeans that they have a divine right to use the entire world and universe as their frontier for the endless pursuit of personal sovereignty. It’s a scam to convince a large portion of the population that they’re in on being a “chosen one” so they’ll coerce themselves into expanding the tax base of whatever the major empire of the time is.
The word liberal at its heart literally means someone who supports market liberalism or laissez-faire economics. In the US the word liberal is used as shorthand for a neoliberal, which is someone who supports free market fundamentals while understanding that some form of social safety nets are necessary (but also optional). The common US liberal might say we need to care about the marginalized, but ultimately seems themselves as above being marginalized. Conservatives are the old school liberals who think social safety nets are never necessary or optional. So yeah a liberal in the context of today’s social-economic-political landscape isn’t much different than a conservative.
Because most people aren’t using the files as stored in the download folder. They’re renaming it, moving it to another folder, and deleting all the extra files. So you’d have to store it twice basically.
