It’s a double entendre because firstly this is absurd, and also a vague reference to how when Trumps insurrectionists show up with guns they just get pardoned instead of executed.
I’ll admit it’s a bit of a stretch as far as jokes go.
They only found three civilians with guns on Jan 6th and the one woman who got killed didn’t have one. I get what you’re saying though.
I would say that you probably don’t want to bring a gun to a protest if you’re going to break the law. Even if you avoid being executed, you could face much harsher charges and lose your 2nd amendment rights. I carry but I’m also very aware of laws where I do.
