I do not live in the USA. Housing is a human right and should be free everywhere. It should not be a market. No one should have to pay anything for housing. You have been fed a lifetime of propaganda to make you believe this is fair. It is not. It is one of the major things that contributes to lifelong stress and shortens lifespans. It is one of the major things that keeps people in poverty, having to pay half their income in rent that they never get back.

Like I said, we have social housing that for intents and purposes is free, so if you need it you can get it.

i would be curious what kind of apartment you are renting, is it what you need or is it what you want?

Feels to me like you want to make people’s wants be free not their needs.

And if all housing is free, who decides who gets to live in sunny L.A. instead of depressing middle eastern winter like we have now?

Could I just move to L.A. whenever? How many people would live on Hawaii?

You have been fed a lifetime of propaganda to make you believe this is fair. It is not

You see the pompous ass attitude again, anyone who doesn’t agree with you on everything is brainwashed. Even if I wanted to agree with you you wouldn’t be able to convince me to agree with you, because you resort to personal attacks and dismissive statements.

It is one of the major things that keeps people in poverty, having to pay half their income in rent that they never get back.

Who says you have to? Seems like you want to? Do you have a need to live where you live or do you have a want to live where you live.
