Seems like a lot of the people who have been interested in running local models have been doing it to skirt around the content policies of the commercial models. That is to say that they use them to make illegal material, fake creepshots, porn deepfakes, and things of that nature. And the worst part is that I don’t really know how this problem could ever be solved as long as people have access to GPUs and the internet.
