Honestly YouTube is the one I use most and provides the most value to me personally. I know it’s terrible that it’s Google and all but I just can’t give it up. I browse on peertube about once a week to try it but it’s really not the same. Lemmy is the best free social media tho.
The problem is finding content, we really need to figure out personalised algorithms so you don’t have to search for a needle in a hay stack to find even a single good video.
I think it’d help Peertube if it had an option to let you view YT frontend content, or if we told more YT creators to put up a Peertube instance/upload spot.
Especially the big ones would help a lot. Kurzgesagt, PBS Space Time & Eons, Tom Scott, etc…

I feel the same way. Peertube is great, but without a larger audience it doesn’t seem to be evolving into something more

I technically agree. But youtube isn’t much of a “social” medium.
