Compete? Why are we competing? There’s work that needs doing, I’m contributing and helping do that work. I think that you see work as inherently competitive instead of cooperative is the problem.
In order to climb and compete you need to be able to learn first or have already learned what to do. With an education you have already learned some of what you will need to know and have proven you will be able to learn the rest. Someone without an education will have to start from zero. Not to mention an education teaches you have to work with people and within teams.
Having an education shows that you are can work within a given system to meet your goals and achieve more than others who aren’t willing to put in that kind of work. You are coming in with an advantage that someone without doesn’t have.
Very true but you can still succeed without education if you’re willing to put in the time and effort. I’ve had a few different successful careers over my life and none of them were related to my little education. In my experience critical thinking and social skills play the biggest role
That’s all right. You don’t need an education to get a good job. You just need a skill that’s in demand. Time to become an expert in something you enjoy.
Education is not the same thing as relentless hard working and drive
How does that boot taste?
Ah so working hard makes you a bootlicker. Gotcha.
Enjoy your poverty.
I mean it takes relentless hard work and drive to get an education.
Yeah, but that only proves to an employer that you’re able to learn. Once you get in the door then you have to climb and compete

You’re competing because the best, hardest working person usually gets the most pay. Feel free to jump in and volunteer but that doesn’t pay the bills
🤷♂️ I work at a smaller business, less than 50 employees. Generally, we all succeed together, and things run smoother when we’re a team.

I have neither.
