Is this game good?
Is it a play once and you’re done?
I think about this game from time to time, even years after I last played it. It tells a unique and complicated story. Well worth the price.
It’s got multiple endings… it’s not something you’re gonna play on a loop, but once a year or so would be good. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Thanks, for 50% off I will try it
Easily worth half off, neighbor. It’s a good story
It is a story or rather character focused game, with choose your own adventure style gameplay. If you have seen every iteration of it, playing it again will not give you anything new. The gameplay is you choosing options from multiple choice. And then the game develops from there. It is therefore light in the amount of options you have at a single point, but the development from there is big, as you can see very different results, depending on which options you choose. I’m hard pressed to name a game where choices matter more than here.
Playing it once will only give you a small glimpse of the possible results though and I think I played it 15 times or so to get all the major results. Which resulted in 20+ hours of entertainment for me.
I adore it and had a looot of fun playing it. The voice actors do a stellar job of bringing the characters to life. There are only 2, but their change in how they act really brings out the different characters. But you need to engage with the game on its terms: no action, simply choosing options at certain moments and seeing how these 2 characters interact under the changing circumstances. There is always a princess and you are there to slay her.
- I tried it out, it’s actually pretty fun, but I am confused. I guess I should keep going
