When the Democrats regain power, their centrist leadership will claim, "We can't do anything because...". Don't be fooled. We need to get the corporate centrists out and real progressives in!

Biden got more progressive change through

He did not. He got more “bipartisan” changes, and we’ve lowered the bar for what that means

Kutter points out that “Joe Biden is the first president in recent memory to press for significantly higher taxes on the very rich.”

Individual tax rates did not change under Biden

This couple with the tangible benefits provided through his America Recovery Act, the Building Back Better Initiative and Infrastructure Investment Act; could help Democrats in 2024 among swing voters

None of these were progressive. They were all tax benefits and grants to big business, specifically in the tech industry. And these businesses were largely aligned with the Trump coalition.

Also, Jesus Christ, please include a “Jump to Recipe” on this article so I can find your points without an hour of scrolling.

Biden’s Department of Labor reopened the issue and proposed a rule at the end of August that would push up that cutoff by nearly $20,000 — to $55,000. The draft regulation, which still needs to be finalized

A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.

Our Philosophies:

  • All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
  • Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
  • Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
  • We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.

Our Goals

  • Higher wages for underpaid workers.
  • Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
  • Better and fewer working hours.
  • Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
  • Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.
