So I pre-ordered the Switch 2 Zelda Edition and planning to eventually purchase Zelda Tears of The Kingdom and Zelda Ocarina.

However, I have two question about the games:

  1. Is it possible to have multiple saves on both games. I will be playing the game but my mother as well. She’s a huge fan of Zelda (in fact my mother is actually the main reason I purchased the Zelda edition, hah).

  2. If somehow it is possible to have two save slots, is it possible to both have different languages? Because I love to play in Japanese voice + English subtitles. My mother prefers English voice + our native language as subtitles.

    You can make a local account on the S2 which will have individual saves for each account. You’ll be able to set language settings for each save as well.

      Having not played them in a while, I don’t remember - do the open-air Zeldas have separate settings for text language and voice language?

      Sometimes games, even ones with voice acting, will combine those options into one choice and it’s kind of annoying.

        Yes, they’re separate settings. If I recall correctly, language is at the system level and voice is an in-game menu option.
