Probably because she’s not an idiot and would actually listen to the generals, and also because she can’t be blackmailed for being a pedophile.

This is, once again, the standard response for any American politician running for president - say something that’s non-commital that also doesn’t make you look weak, so it can’t be misused by your political opposition. It is essentially a non-answer. If you look back every presidential candidate has said something similar, except for Trump (as trump usually just admits he wants to drop bombs on people.)

And as others have already pointed out, she’s beholden to Israel and if they would’ve told her they were going to to strike, and that they expected her to do the same, she would have in a heartbeat because then American gets to fight a war it founds it’s way into through an ally rather than us blatantly attacking them.

This is an incredibly simplistic and over reductive view of the situation. The reason why they supported Israel’s genocide (among other reasons too extensive to get into here) was because after Oct. 7th the polling was in support of Israel, and it only turned against Israel after they started the genocide. Now you may aruge that the left and progressives were always against the Palestinian genocide, and you’d be correct. But what you’re not getting is that the Democratic Party does not care about it’s left/progressive wing, because those people are not a consistent voting block. Up until rather recently the majority of Americans were in favor of supporting Israel, and they reacted accordingly, because that’s what politicians do.

Sorry this war didn’t come with bombs wrapped in a rainbow flag and instead just exposed the bombs openly themselves. But to look at even what the Biden admin said and did in the wake of Trump 1.0 (things fundamentally will not change or something to that effect that Biden said in 2020.) you’d have to be crazy to think a Democrat is going to come in and save you. Especially one that can’t say genocide in Palestine is happening and it is bad.

I don’t see how me stating the fact that Kamala would not have invaded Iran as equivalent to “a Democrat is going to come in and save me.” How about you blame politicans for the things they actually did, and not the shit they didn’t do or you think they’ll do. You’re literally blaming them for starting a war when in real life democrats have a record of ending wars, not starting them.

Nobody says you have to support democrats, but don’t feed me this crap that somehow they’d be just as bad as republicans because I don’t have time for no bullshit.
