I don’t have any so I just try to comment on any posts that interest me that don’t already have comments. I’m usually more of a lurker but, someone needs to make the first comment! Lol

Im at almost 2 months of daily posts on !posttoday@lemmy.zip and it hasn’t taken off. I’m not shocked - building a lemmy community is hard. I’ll probably slow down on posting, theres a nice backlog for people to browse through now.

Still happy to have the space though, I’ve been surprised how often I dug something up to post there and realized it would also fit another community, only to realize I couldn’t post it there due that community having rules that made it difficult or impossible. Its nice to have a spot I can just share something with little hassle.

I really think much of the Fediverse is a slow nightclub. We need less bouncers stopping people at the door and more promoters getting the party started.
