Yes Intourist was the travel agency for Soviet Union. KGB was involved ofc in similar fashion as they were involved in many other aspects of Soviet life. The point was to get foreign capital and get good PR.

Using Intourist alone isn’t some big deal. Unless they’re saying my parents are also Soviet/Russian assets since they visited USSR through Intourist hah
