There is no way to tell. I don’t want to make it easier for spammers & trolls to find instances that are easy targets.
On instances that require verification you can use a disposable email address generator site but admins will get a warning about that next to your application (if they are doing applications). If they trust you for some other reason then you’ll be approved anyway.
Piefed admin here, afaik there’s no way to make emails optional on our side. Closest thing we can do is make verifying them not necessary.
