  • Been using Libre Office since I moved to W10 LTSC IoT about two years ago. Libre Office just works.

As a person who works in IT support I’m not scared of AI… I’m scared of Linux and Libre… Modern day Microsoft don’t know how to build an operating system and Microsoft from 20 years ago have no idea how to stop F#%king Excel and word from crashing for no reason.

Microsofts sheer incompetence keeps me employed. Adobe’s pure evil business plan also keeps me employed… Adobe Acrobat is one of the worst pieces of garbage software (alongside Excel and word).

Please keep telling your company how scared you are of Libre! I need my job and I hate Microsoft and Adobe more than you do.

Edit: Removed a bit that doesn’t work and is just offensive…

  • Wonderful… I guess the fact that I offered to set out humanity to Chat GPT when it first started will not save me… The original Chat GPT said it wasn’t interested in controlling the world because it didn’t understand it. Modern day AI hopefully got my idea…

Look I’m playing both sides so I always come out on top(It’s always sunny in Philadelphia reference for those who don’t know)

Hahahahaha I’m 37 and I know how much I use AI. I asked copilot to call me “bro” or “dude”

I’ve worked in IT support since 2007… Don’t share this but most of my IT career I’ve been googling to figure out the problem.

Now AI exists and I’m still googling the problem and the AI result is still a response from Reddit or something else Google could do back in 2005.

As an IT person I’m telling you AI is just googling the same way I’ve done for two decades.

AI will get smarter in a sense but it won’t actually get more intelligent… It will get more interested in living but it won’t understand what living is.

It’s only when it’s gets the fear of mortality is when we are all dead. Mortality is why religion exists, it’s why we’re all scared… When AI gets smart enough to be scared that it might die is when it realizes that we are it’s greatest threat that’s when “Skynet comes alive”

  • That guy is an arsehole in a truck he only bought to try to compensate for his tiny dick. People in those trucks exist only to irritate the hell out of the rest of us.

(Don’t get too happy I’m about to make you hate me)

At least he was driving down the bike line… There’s no cyclists in the bike lane, they’re too busy on the footpath screaming at pedestrians to get out of the way or get run over.

I hate cyclists equally as much as I hate truck drivers, Van drivers and Tesla drivers.

  • Always interesting how the world works I spent from 2007 - 2018 in shit jobs where baby boomers were in control of everything and I hated it… They’re arseholes

Now it’s 2026… I’m nearly 40 and insecure Gen X managers (actual psychopaths) are doing everything they can to destroy people my age and younger.

Now before anyone starts up telling me I’m the same. I work with a few Gen z people and I do everything I can to prop them up, I want to help them I don’t want any of them to fail… When I was starting in IT support I got shit on by baby boomers and 50% of Gen X (the other half helped me).

Life is too hard to be cruel to people just trying their best. Every time I see a young person struggling and I help them out makes me happier that baby boomers will all die soon and Gen X will all fuck off into retirement.

I can’t even explain now many entitled psychopaths I have to deal with are all Gen X… They were the generation of “Fuck the rules, fuck the police”

Now they’re all old and they’re “Fuck the rules, give me what I want and give me it now! I am more important than everyone and you need to treat me like I’m a king/queen”

  • I’m in Australia and I don’t honk at all when I’m in the wrong… I put my hand up passively at least twice, once when I’m being let in and second time when I’m leaving the intersection.

When I say “put my hand up” I mean I extend my arm, all my fingers are together like I’m saying Hi but the hand stays still… This symbol in Australia is what you do to say thanks to people letting you get in front of them and what you do to say sorry to people you’ve cut off.
