Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•When does upgrading you PC become a "new" PC?
2·2 days agoNew mb, cpu, ram and videocard.
Chernobyl, Fukushima, 3 Mile Island. Plus uranium is another non-renewable resource.
I’m still pro nuke as getting off fossil fuels is of the utmost urgency, but we will have to learn to live off wind and solar.
You never specified otherwise.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What's the most horrifying thing someone in your care has eaten?
10·2 days agoI fed my dog breakfast, then my wife fed my dog breakfast. It was too much for her tummy. She barfed the food up. Then ate the barf. We we laughing and guffawing too hard to clean it immediately, so she ate it again. Then barfed again, then ate it once more. Then barfed again, then we cleaned it because we went from gross out laughter to scared she would hurt herself.
The venn diagram here is one circle.

Fuck AI@lemmy.world•Journalist Alarmed When He’s Fired, But Company Keeps Posting AI Slop Under His Name
2·4 days agoThey don’t go to litigation because they know its illegal. Most common example are non-compete clauses. No one can stop you from gainful employment wherever the fuck you please. The courts have squashed this B.S. thoroughly, except on extremely narrow circumstances, and no one wants the added costs. Litogate, sure lose and pay both costs and still lose.
