For what you may not know is that Charles Darwin had a huge interest in food, and during his time in Cambridge he was the President of the  infamous Glutton Club.

The main objective of the club was to seek and eat ‘strange flesh’ and chow down upon the rarest ‘birds and beasts which were before unknown to human palate’.

The club met weekly and was a roaring success. They ate such beautiful birds as the bittern and hawk.

The club eventually came to an abrupt end when a tawny owl was served up.

The meat was disgusting and stringy and was described as, er, “indescribable”.

I used to follow a guy on Tumblr who ended up watching a lot of daytime TV while recuperating from surgery.

He came to the conclusion that wrestling was essentially a soap opera designed to be socially acceptable for men to watch.

The LA signed up the local primary schools with the free tier of M365 for Education years ago. It gives them access to email and SharePoint, which is all most of them need.

Asking cash-strapped schools to pay for something they can get for free (teachers are all over ChatGPT and Canva) isn’t going to get 'em very far, no matter how many orifices they try to jam Copilot into.

Don’t forget that 999 was chosen in the era of rotary phones - it was (iirc) chosen explicitly because it was hard to dial accidentally.
