Right? But also even perfectly made slop is still slop. Slop is nothing new it’s just getting automated

I’m not Admiral Patrick of the former dubvee.org I just play along to waste the time of those who believe they are successfully harassing him.

I keep hearing this but what makes them “good”? Like at the end of the day they’re still just LLMs right? Even if they can generate a perfect picture that no human could tell is AI, so what? What is that skill useful for besides fooling humans into believing something is real that isn’t true?
Heck- they can’t even set a reminder like natural language processing (Siri) could do fifteen years ago.
This is one of those times I like to be a pedant and separate LLMs and other generating bots from what I think most people would consider intelligence. Real AI tech could serve all of humanity, but LLMs are just the next fancy shitcoin the wealthy and their hangers-on want to convince you spits out something that has high value when it clearly doesn’t (unless you’re in the propaganda business).

21·2 days agoThe problem is few mods want to stick their necks out and enforce those rules because they’ll end up getting harassed by one the multiple instances that largely exist to harass people they don’t like.

3·3 days agoYeah but even then, it’s an extremely niche distro and 99.9% of Linux users using a password manager service are using bitwarden/vaultwarden. It just doesn’t make sense.

10·3 days agoThat stood out to me too. It comes preinstalled with Omarchy so thats something but also Omarchy has like, a thousand daily active users so even that doesn’t sit right.

12·5 days agoYou Kiwi Farms freaks need to update your wiki because /u/AdmiralPartick is deleted long ago. This is the main account, not an alt.
Hopefully your admin won’t like it either but you don’t know until you ask

I know you think they’re good, I asked what makes them good. Maybe you can you give an example of what makes them good? It might help me understand your perspective.
