AI is a very broad term that includes more than machine learning. Assuming you mean LLM

The differences are:

• it does not learn from experience like humans do. They learn by training, which is separate from conversation where context window is limited
• they only learn from text (thus name Language Model), so they do not understand other inputs like touch, sight, sound, taste, and many others
• they do not think critically, take all input at face value, particularly that LLM cannot corroborate input information with experience from real world

Also if you cannot tell difference between real human and AI it’s only because your interaction with AI is limited to text. If you can meet it like a real human, it’ll be obvious that it’s a computer not a person. If the image is blurry/pixelated enough, you couldn’t tell a car from a house, that doesn’t mean cars have become indistinguishable from houses.

You never hear what colour was the car, whether driver had windows rolled up or down, wearing seatbelt, listening to music, or headlights on. But when the cyclist is the victim, suddenly everything can be used to blame them 🤔

Good luck, the next rounds of training will iron these out and the line will continue blurring. These tips will flag a lot of false positives from educated people, and those comments are valuable. Maybe if you look for human-style mistakes you will have hope determining if comment was made by a human, like capitalisation, autocomplete issues, and typos.

Not only. I have Android in Ireland, and it has call screening.

I don’t know what kind of voicemail you’re referring to, the one provided by networks over here just sends the caller to voicemail if you don’t pick up, you will get a text later.

There may be a different voicemail service where you live (visual voicemail?) that I have no experience using.

Then there’s Call Screening that android had indeed been had for a while, but it doesn’t record a message, it’s a back and forth interactive conversation and you can see the transcript in real time.

It’s not the same. You can’t answer it mid-recording. and if the phone call turns out to be important, you have to call back, and if it’s a company you’ll likely have to navigate a maze of options, then wait while “all operators are busy”.

I use it on android and most people just hang up.

But it’s nice knowing that companies who call me also have to talk to a robot first before reaching the human, me😊
