I actually got to send that type of email to my boss.

Students set fire to toilet paper in the bathrooms. I emptied my water bottle onto the still glowing embers, took some pics, and tried to phrase my email to as close as to the show. (Don’t think anyone got the reference, but I had laugh)

I met 2 (or at least they looked like they did).

1 was a pastor of a local church, which didn’t have a set location. (No tithe collections either). Every week they would go to someones house or a community centre for their service. For me it looked like they chose being a Christian vs acting like one.

The other was homeschooling his kids from a trailer out of town (which looking back, might be abit TOO brainwash-ey, but the kids are gown up now and seem normal. So maybe he raised them right, or the kids grew out of it after school.

If you played Nier Automata, there’s a line/concept about ‘meaningless code’. The characters in the game are just androids. 1s and 0s, yet we care about the characters.

We are all just meat sacks roaming around, yet we still care about those meat sacks. I just met you as a username. A bunch of characters on a screen. Yet I’m treating that bunch of characters as a human being, and talking to them.

And if you like the odds of you exsisting, the graphic novel Watchmen also has a great chapter about that.

If I want to watch 10 minutes of funny shorts/tik toks, do I

a) open my feed, where I have a chance to find not funny content, and have to physically swipe for every video? Plus laughing alone is not as fun as laughing with someone else

Or

b) watch sniper-ali-freerobuckz watch the good ones, and I can sit back and enjoy someone to laugh with?

I’m not defending reaction content. They are obviously lazy and just copy-pasting for easy views, but I can see why they get clicks.
