Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What's a TV series that you really, really liked and would enthusiastically recommend?
6·3 days agoIf you like time travel and “monster of the week” type shows (and you are willing to try someyhing different in another language) I recomend a spanish show called The Ministry of Time (El ministerio del tiempo). I watched with english subs and It was still very good. If you speak spanish better yet!
Really good show and I loved the premise. Idk how the americans didn’t create an american version like they did for the french Les Revenants (Also a great choice, much better than the american I think)

6·3 days agoone thing that bothers me a lot on shows Is that it always seem they don’t know how to end things. I loved Fringe ending. They tied so many things together in a beautiful scene.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Videogames you always wanted to play but they did disappointed you?
11·4 days agoI never wanted to play any specific games but I did avoid playing Dave the Diver for months thinking it was boring. I could bet money that I would hate it. Gave it a try one day out of boredom and could not sleep until I finish it a week later. 70 hours. (yes I have a full time job)
fucking great game

how will the US support it’s many many gun factories and research if there is no war? Don’t forget a large part of american economy revolve around the war machine.
I don’t want to die right now lol But I think I should if wanted to!
I think those programs are a great step forward and it should be regulated indeed, but we still have a long road to go until full body autonomy.
“You have to prove unrecoverable decline” for me that’s the issue. After a mandatory tryout period with a psychiatric, if the person still wants to die that should be up to them, not other people.

You want co controversial?! Ok
I think we should be able to decide our own deaths if we want too, and that should be law. Depresion is real, yes, but a lot of people want to LITERALLY impose life into others. Not only talking about end stage or crippling disease but also psychological issues so bad living with it is torture. You reading this and disagreeing are doing it becuse you afe either religious, and you are imposing your religion into others, or someone else would feel bad, regardless if the person lives in agony, they have to live to not make someone else sad. “I don’t want my son to take his life” YOU YOU YOU.Of course I think there should be procedures and controls in place, like +21, 1 or 2 years mandatory psychiatric follow up, if you have youngs kid you also can’t. But if you are an adult, no kids, fuck your opinion dude, it’s their life their choice.

Today I Learned@lemmy.world•TIL there's a trend called hobby dogging where people take an imaginary dog through an obstacle course.English
4·5 days agoi mean sometimes we see people doing stuff and we know they have issues and for sure need some help, BUT, they could be dealing with it in a way worst way, so I don’t mind. You go imaginary dog people.
