tbh, the big thing that made PS2 great for me when I was young is that I could just plug in the disc and play the game… well, at least most of the time. “Please insert a PS2 disc” was definitely a pain.

Why is the European Space Agency doing this instead of a moon program or something? /j

We have AC but this is still funny

Ideally, yes. But we’re way past the point where mitigation alone can solve this. We need climate change adaptation, too.
I suggest we replace every CEO with a cat and a business buzzword soundboard.
It will result in increased revenue, profit, employee satisfaction, willingness to return to office work, work environment health, employee retention, and most importantly, amount of cats in the office. (After all, a CatEO needs a VPurr and a mewsistant…)

True. I was thinking about the Hitler one in particular, as I’m sure someone would quickly notice such an extensive edit on such a notable topic.
In fact, I wonder if there are bots or something for detecting these edits…

Nah.
Sure, disinformation and propaganda are worse than ever.
But the truth is still out there.
And it’s worth looking for.

You could, but it would be reverted within 24 hours.
And by hours I mean minutes.
Perhaps even seconds if it’s during CET waking hours.

Yeah, and the small part of the the news that can affect me and/or I have input about is what the news summary should be about - thinks like Chat Control, climate change, or AI deepfakes.

I’ve largely stopped actively following news because
I’d like to read summaries of a given week’s news on the world, EU, national, and maybe local level once a week, tho. I’ll check if there’s anything like this for the world and EU scale and report back here if there is.

“Task Manager, my beloved”
“I’m System Monitor now” (Arch+KDE)
“Apologies. System Monitor, my beloved”
Also, the bottom bar with icons and stuff is called “Task Manager” on KDE, which is mildly confusing
Funny idea: what if Republicans are making these ultimately inconsequential blunders to divert attention from the greater problems?
That said, the green pool and UFC are good meme template materials to use to raise awareness of said problems.
I’m not sure. Southern hemisphere countries might flush differently. Better not risk it, though.

Please don’t try to flush Portugal.
Would be based if it was true. Fuck Microsoft and make Google watch.
