It’s just Microsoft. It doesn’t effect everyone, but it effects a lot of people and Microsoft is just shit. About 20% of the people I work with deal with the same issue of it being required every single time and I bet some of them have never cleared a cookie in their life.
I can sign in to a thing, close the app and instantly get it again. On repeat. I’m not even sure I could clear the cookies in the 20 seconds it takes for it to show up again.

That’s Runescape 3,except they are removing it all. Osrs has membership (effectively required for the game) and you can buy bonds so other players can buy membership with in game money. That’s it.

I definitely buy YouTube premium, have had it for a few years. But I also use it a ton instead of Netflix or Amazon or anything else. I figure at a minimum of 50 hours a week on YouTube I should probably pay for it, even at the like $20 AUD a month or whatever it’s climbed to at this point, and creators get a % of my premium money so that supports people.
