10·5 months agoThe neat part of the Internet is having communities like this explain things I’ve been feeling my whole life, but couldn’t quite find the words to describe it.
Figuring out that I have ADHD (4 years ago at age 33) made a lot of things make sense.

3·5 months agoThis is a fascinating technology. I don’t have time to watch a 30-minute video at the moment, but I will say, at least in the state of California, fluorescent tubes are no longer being sold or made because of the Mercury used in the tubes.
My question is, with the existence of LEDs and how little power they take, why would this technology be made now? Or is this really just for an experiment?
