More like balancing on a tiny stool. Now I get the feeling that he might topple over at any moment.

3·1 month agoNwn has such a huge amount of content to play. It’s always surprised me that none of the other rpgs have managed to fill the same niche.
Btw, love your username :)

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Are there any websites from the 90s that you can remember but can find no trace of now?English
4·1 month agoIt was one of the very first social networking sites. I met my partner through there in a random chat room.
It was based on the six degrees of separation thing. You could see from any user if you were connected and through how many degrees.
I don’t remember much anymore, besides it being a place where you could meet people.

8·1 month ago- Neverwinter Nights
Especially with all the modules, and the online role playing servers, this one has kept me entertained for over twenty years. - Caves of Qud
I’m going to finish this one… some day. - Daggerfall
For nostalgia’s sake - Songs of Syx
I just got started with this one, but it feels like a game I could not get tired off any time soon. It’s still under development, so I hope I get the updates as well? - Streets of Rogue
A fun game that I like to play with my son - Unlimited Adventures
A precursor to Neverwinter Nights from the early 90s. Has a huge library of modules to play. - Cyberpunk
I mainly like it as a virtual world to explore - Fallout New Vegas
It was either this or Fallout 2. But FNV has mods, so I guess this one will win. - Fallout 2
Ok, I want this one too :) - <Placeholder for some kind of roleplaying MUD>
I don’t know enough about them yet, but I’ve always wanted to properly get into one. With only 10 games to play, I hope I will be able to stay focused enough to get invested in one.
- Neverwinter Nights
Aw, thanks. It’s just my default behavior.
It takes a moment, and then I’ll remember why I’m actually there. But the impulse to not want to be a bother to anyone runs deep :)
This is legitimately the first response that comes to mind when I’m at a doctor’s appointment that I personally asked for.
Like, I don’t want to bother this nice lady with my problems. I’m sure she has better things to do than having to listen to me.
They might carry over to the sequel, you never know.
Silly cat, how are you going to get that big pizza through that tiny hole?
I just get it wrong on purpose and call it six times seven. There’s nothing worse than a parent trying to join in but not getting the thing to begin with.
Pretty sure my parents did that with me as well, so it must be a tradition.
Honey Mustard Doesn’t Call.
It’s not that I don’t want to, I just have a hard time finding the energy and motivation.

According to this 28 year old theory, it’s because he died in front of Luke.
There’s no dark or light side, there’s just trying to die in front of Luke.
Half as much as they have measured, is my guess.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Which game do I get that's under 20GB?English
5·2 months agoFields of Mistria is a cute farming game like Stardew Valley, and it’s only like 800MB.
My 4 year old son once leaned too far backwards and fell over in one of our heavy wooden dining chairs. He was dazed but thankfully ok.
But the back of the dining chair was completely broken.I managed to salvage it as a stool by sawing off the remains of the back. But whenever my kids now ask why we only have three dining chairs, I tell them in graphic detail about what happened the last time when someone was wobbling on their chair.
You’re not the only one.
I thought I was looking at a history meme and was expecting to find an explanation on how clean sheet night was some kind of medieval tradition :)
