You can buy bags with fake mold, but people will probably see it and throw your food in the trash, so I don’t think it really helps.

For test data I like to use different movie or comic book names for different epics.
So when we start a new epic with multiple user stories I decide this will be all star wars, or matrix or donald duck characters, etc etc. The nice thing about it is when certain test data gives unexpected errors in other parts of application its easy to track where the test data is from.

Yeah if bugs didn’t exist I’d be homeless too
bier@feddit.nlto Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•So um, the united states just started another war in the middle east. We're going to need a shit ton more memes to distract americans from the nightmare they are enduring. Thanks in advance...1·9 days agoYou do know what to do and you are doing it! It’s not going to magically solve everything but you are doing more than most people.
bier@feddit.nlto Enshittification@lemmy.world•Google fucked a whole generation with Chromebooks, and now they're fucking the next generation with AI1·10 days agoYeah it’s a pretty bad take IMHO. When I was a kid we had one 386 desktop computer running MS-DOS. No laptops, phones or tablet. I always liked computers and when I went to high school I noticed a bunch of old broken computers in a storage room one day. Asked the computer teacher (we had computer classes learned MS Word and (blind) typing) if I could try to fix them. Me and a friend spend many luch breaks swapping parts, until about half of them worked again. Learning about something is mostly your willingness to learn. As a highschool kid I would have loved to get a laptop. If I had a Chromebook I’m fairly sure I would have tried to run a custom OS on it or see what else non standard thing I could have unlocked.
Is that even a thing anymore or did that also get demolished by DOGE? It seems like anything that benefits companies but screws consumers and citizens is being dismantled
