I’ve been charging my phones exclusively wirelessly (not counting plugging in cars or emergencies) for about 15 years. From Lumia, to OnePlus to Pixel now. Zero issues.
Even iphones finally invented wireless charging a few years ago and it works very well.
I realize it’s not as efficient, but I charge overnight and we’re probably talking about $10/year in losses.
Default behavior is for psychopaths.

Could you name a few successful boycotts? I did a quick search and recent examples don’t seem that successful to me. Amazon is still doing amazingly well and Nestlé is still killing people.
A lot of legacy stuff that’s really expensive and time consuming to upgrade. If it ain’t broken (and protected from the internet), don’t fix it.
Ability to pay for anything legal implies accountability. I doubt payment processors are creating these rules because they’re afraid of Jesus.
They just did the math and there’s probably a ton of disputes/chargebacks on certain content.
Should two consenting adults be able to pay each other for whatever the fuck - absolutely. But dumb pipe only sounds really good until you get scammed.
