But what if the task is so cripplingly boring that it’s almost physically painful?
gid@lemmy.blahaj.zonetoLGBTQ+@lemmy.blahaj.zone•Why we took action against Stonewall and their Genocide “Champions”
6·4 months agoThe idea that “there is no queer liberation while other groups are still oppressed” is core to the concept of class solidarity.
If an unethical (in the context of enabling oppression of Palestinians) company treats its queer employees with respect, is that really to be celebrated? Is the oppression of Palestinians an acceptable price for that progress? I don’t think so.

Pine disinfectant. It cuts through everything and makes me feel ill.
Nice shots! I’ve seen a few recently in my area but they’re always hidden in foliage, so getting any kind of picture is tricky. They’re lovely birds, and have such a nice song.

Especially when they’re trying to explain directions to me.
Just give me the address, or even coordinates. I can figure out how to get there, thanks.

Bravo! you made my morning coffee go up my nose.
No the water remembers the soup! You get all the goodness of the soup, but in water.

2·5 months agoI can’t think of any specific EU vendors, but Etsy is a great place to find independent sellers and you can filter by region.
If you don’t mind extending your search out to the UK, I can thoroughly recommend buying from the anarchist, queer print shop Black Lodge Press. They print stickers and zines in limited runs, so just checking now they don’t have much available, but previously they had some great “Queer love destroys fascism” stickers. It’s worth keeping an eye on their store.

50·5 months agoI think it might speak to other parents who are not accepting? Like it shows that someone who also thought like them was open to having their mind changed. They might be more willing to listen to her story.
Update: I found the original article. It’s very light on details and only mentions there was a time some years ago where Tamzin struggled with accepting her son’s identity. Still, it’s nice (to me, anyway) to see a positive development arc.
Sorry, I didn’t intend my comment to appear as policing what you wrote! I was just taken aback by the common name.
Is that really the common name? 🤯
But what font did you want me to read it in?
