Same. I’ve got an FLX1s, and I’d love to recommend it to people, but it’s just too buggy. It’s got a lot of potential, and I’m still excited about the project, but I have to reboot the phone a couple of times a day because it just keeps buggin out.

For my laptop and desktop, it’s just a single bash script. For my home-lab, it’s a config-management system that I built using bash scripts.

I have a bunch of scripts to install my systems. Anything important is already backed up to my storage system.

I’m privileged enough to love my job. I love it so much, that I do it as a hobby at home. If I made a billion dollars tomorrow, I’d tell a few people to fuck off, but I’d volunteer to do something similar for a non-profit.
I haven’t loved all my jobs. There are plenty that I hated. My experience is that most people don’t love their jobs. It was a combo of hard work, focus, and immense amounts of luck that allowed me to get here.

Not fascist, but I was a Religious-Fundamentalist.
I went to college to study the Bible, started reading debates between Creationists and Atheists, and ended up realising that the Atheists were correct.
Once I was no longer religious, moving left was just obvious to me based on human decency.

The amount of companies that I’ve seen dive face-first into walled gardens because “they wouldn’t screw us over, we’re paying customers!” is mindblowing.
2 years later, and those same CHUDs have
and are yelling at me because prices have gone through the roof, and there’s no way to get out of the stack without a complete redesign.
How do the idiots that make these decisions keep failing upwards?

Find a local food bank, see if they need help.
Find a local homeless shelter, see if they need help.
Find a local park, see if they need help.

Good use of meme, but it’d be better with just the top half. He’s already handing them a bag of monies

You can run your own models that don’t have a watermark. You don’t need to rely on corpos, so people will just go elsewhere.
