Type F is also shuttered (at least in modern installations), no metal is exposed if it’s only inserted half way because it is recessed and many plugs are also sheathed. Fuses in plugs are unnecessary, because there are circuit breakers (which also allow you to turn off the power to individual parts of the home if you’re installing a lamp fitting or something). They also work with tumble dryers and the plugs are also generally right angled and stick out no further than a type G.

Additionally the plugs are compatible with many other standards, non grounded plugs can be very compact, making things like USB chargers much smaller. And they won’t impale your foot if you step on them.

Sorry, but F is just objectively superior.

Es gibt viele gute Gründe sich gegen das Kinderkriegen zu entscheiden (die auch in dem Artikel aufgegriffen werden). Als Gesellschaft sollten wir definitv anstreben diesen Gründen etwas entgegenzusetzen, auch wenn es natürlich absolut legitim ist wenn Menschen einfach keine Kinder wollen. Bessere Work/Life Balance, statt Forderungen nach mehr Überstunden und Umverteilung von Reichtum nach unten, damit sich mehr Menschen in der Lage sehen sich um Kinder zu kümmern wären zum Beispiel ein guter Anfang.

Ein anderer Punkt, der in dem Artikel gar nicht erwähnt wurde: Menschen die Kinder wollen, wo es aber nicht auf natürlichem Wege funktioniert. Menschen werden immer später Eltern, was das Kinderkriegen nicht unbedingt einfacher macht (oder es gibt andere Gründe warum es nicht funktioniert oder es sind Singles oder Paarkonstellationen wo es auf natürlichem Wege überhaupt nicht funktionieren kann).

Eine Kinderwunschbehandlung kann aber sehr schnell sehr teuer werden und sowohl GKV und PKV übernehmen das entweder nur teilweise oder überhaupt nicht. Bei Kosten die mehrere tausend Euro bis 5-stellig werden können, ist das für viele einfach nicht bezahlbar. Einige Behandlungen (z.B. eine Eizellspende) sind in im Gegensatz zu den meisten europäischen Ländern in Deutschland außerdem verboten, so dass Menschen dafür in’s Ausland reisen müssen, wo sie auf jeden Fall 100% Selbstzahler sind und Reisekosten das ganze zudem noch unerschwinglicher machen.

Kinder kriegen sollte halt kein Privileg für Menschen mit Geld sein, denn zum einen ist das schon alleine aus moarlisch/ethischer Sicht für’n Arsch, sondern auch einfach dumm, wenn man in einer Gesellschaft lebt, die aktiv dafür sorgt, dass es immer weniger Menschen mit Geld gibt.

I played it and completed the story. In my opinion it’s not awful, but it’s not exactly good either. The gameplay is bland, repetitive and unoriginal. Nothing about it is special in any way and unless you care about the Star Wars license, there is literally zero reason to play it. If you do care about the license the gameplay is serviceable enough to keep you busy while it tells its story, but that’s about it. Which makes it pretty ironic that Ubisoft blames Star Wars for the game’s lack of success.

If I want something and can afford it, I buy it. The best purchases retrospectively are always the ones I get a lot of enjoyment out of. For example I don’t regret spending a lot of money on my bicycles because I’ve got a lot of enjoyment out of riding them for thousands of kilometres every year. The only purchases I regret are ones I don’t end up using as much as I thought I would.

Obviously if you share expenses with others, you need to consider their needs to. For me that means not spending money on a bike that I’m going to need for a shared holiday or whatever later on.

Since you’re on the same instance as me, I assume you are a mod/admin there. Let me use this opportunity to say thank you to you and all the other mods on feddit.org for helping to keep that place one of the most pleasant online spaces I’ve come across in my years on the internet. As far as I can tell from the outside you and the others are doing a great job.

In my experience the city information is not particularly reliable. If you geolocate my IP the city is always wrong.

When I was 13 I wrapped a fire cracker in tape apart from the end with the fuse (I thought it would be louder that way). It exploded in my hand as I lit it.

My hand was fine because of the tape but the full force of the blast came out the untaped end and shot fragments of paper and black powder right into my face and eyes.

Ended up having to get rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery. They basically removed several layers of skin from my face and scraped the debris from my eyeballs. After surgery I couldn’t see further than like 10cm from my face and the doctors told me either it would be permanent or I’d be able to see again in a week or so. Luckily it was the latter.

I got extremely lucky and made a full recovery.

Ich glaube es muss nicht zwangsläufig daran liegen, dass keine Zeit da ist. Ich glaube oft fehlt nach einem langen, anstrengenden Arbeitstag einfach die Energie und/oder Motivation sich noch in die Küche zu stellen und was zu kochen. Mich betrifft das jetzt nicht so sehr (habe einen entspannten Bürojob mit viel Homeoffice), aber wenn ich jeden Tag 8 Stunden auf dem Bau hart körperlich arbeiten müsste, würde ich glaube ich nach der Arbeit auch nur noch auf der Couch lungern.

Wir können alternativ auch einfach weiter zusehen und nichts tun während Nazis unsere Gesellschaft zerstören und Menschen terrorisieren.

Wenn es nach mir ginge würde die bloße Mitgliedschaft oder Unterstützung solcher Gruppen ausreichen um eine mehrjährige Haftstrafe wegen Mitgliedschaft in einer terroristischen Vereinigung nach sich zu ziehen. Klar ist das in einem Rechtsstaat nicht so einfach und es gibt (zurecht) hohe Hürden, aber es kotzt mich nur noch an wie das Problem einfach von Politik, Strafverfolgung und Justiz größtenteils ignoriert wird, während der Rest der Bevölkerung unter diesen Wichsern leidet.
