Maybe not but there’s a good chance your town has a local bus system. Whether it’s any useful is another question, but it’s worth at least looking at the routes/schedules in case it’s one of the lucky few cities that’s kind of tried to make their bus system not suck.

How do you know it not just people who assume smoking only applies to tobacco and insist they never have, but instead smoke tons or weed? Or exclusively vape?
That seems more an issue of convenience rather than a desire to not interact with people. Being able to order a ride or food in a few clicks and see the price and availability immediately beats having to find the phone number, hope they’re available, ask all those individual questions (or don’t and hope it’s not too far away), or worse, repeat all that for another restaurant/taxi company because the first is too busy.
