Mazda 3. Engine is mostly fine, but the interior is just dying. Overall I’d call it well built for the price… But almost 20 years takes its toll.

Currently driving a 2008, it’s just not holding together very well regardless of what I am doing. Just replaced the motors for the electric windows, took all of one month for one of them to fail again.
Funny, golfs and GTIs were exactly what I was looking at. Glad to hear even semi-modern ones aren’t terrible for privacy.
I wonder, is there any vehicle rating service that goes off of privacy and security? Some source that tells us what cars have what data collection, and possibly how to turn it off?
My car is dying soon, and I could use a replacement. It would be nice to have that information on hand when shopping.
Aftermarket. OEM was over 5 times the cost for each, like hundreds a pop. Aside from that, just wanted to replace it for the sake of fuel economy. Thing gets 18 highway, that’s less than my dad’s huge f150
