over_clox was attacked and run over by a Cybertruck 3.0 in auto self-defense mode after trying to move a turtle out of the road.
Homie, where I’m from, beer is cheaper than good clean filtered water, and is far safer than plain tap water.
Yes I drink beer. No I do not have SNAP benefits. Even if I did, I live in a state where you cannot purchase beer with SNAP.
If someone can just riddle me why the hell beer is cheaper than filtered water, and do something about that, I’ll gladly switch back to water.
If your dad is 10 years older than your mom, some questions are best left unasked…
What the fuck does nicotine have anything to do with this discussion?
I just got threatened by a guest in my own apartment for looking to recycle old lithium batteries today.
Ain’t no fucking body trying to buy cigarettes off of SNAP.
You can literally go fuckoff.
This is true in Mississippi as well, you can’t use SNAP benefits to buy hot food.
I have however heard that some locations manage to circumvent this by technically selling the food while still cold before it’s cooked, then going ahead and cooking it for you anyways.
Fun fact: At least in Louisiana, possibly some other states as well, you can actually buy beer with SNAP benefits.
Not saying I approve of that, SNAP is intended to buy food and water, just saying that’s a thing in some states. 🤷
Still, if I had SNAP benefits (I don’t, but I have before), it’s none of Turnip’s business if I wanted to get a 6 pack of beer.
So the tally whacker is the fastest telegraph?
Amateur, just install Doom to the sperm partition like the rest of us.
Meh, anything can happen at any time, I’ve come to accept that.
These are basically brand new surveillance grade hard drives, which means they’re designed to run 24/7 and run cooler than consumer grade drives. Neither one has any bad sectors, and they both purr quieter than kittens.
I always keep one completely offline and totally disconnected, sitting on a shelf, save for the occasional clone day where I have both connected.
I figure the chances of both failing at once are on an astronomical scale.
I’m using a laptop with external USB adapters.
Check my comment history though, my very last comment to another post made a silly reference to RAID…
Well yeah, but that’s in RAID, so the data is very redundant and resilient to bad sectors. 👍
Don’t forget to draw your backups in the sand…
Homie, it’s 2025, everything runs in parallel these days…
Lucky me, I recently acquired two 4TB hard drives, and I’m making a point to use one as my active backup, and every few months or so, clone that drive to the other one and swap them, just in case one ever fails ya know…
Honestly, I don’t think I’ve even seen a snail in years. I mean I’m no gardener, and don’t necessarily go out of my way to look for little critters, but I live on the US Gulf Coast, and make a point to look out for little helpful harmless critters, so you’d figure I should see more than one a year…
🤷
You can add in all the other stupid rich billionaires while you’re at it.
It’s complicated…
LOL, sometimes I enjoy the silly banter!
Sleep well my stranger lemming, we might banter again another day… 👍
