Usually (with the occasional exception), I don’t interrupt. Quite frequently unless I’m given the opportunity to, I find I struggle to find a way to break in to a conversation which means I’m normally the ‘quiet’ one, even if I do have something to say. It generally doesn’t help that it takes me time to figure out a response if the subject is something I’m less familiar with which means frequently by the time I’ve come up with something I can contribute, the conversation has moved on.

Speaking can be difficult or awkward when my energy levels are running low 😑

Every so often we have issues with the local tram service because someone has driven up the line of a section where there is no shared space with road traffic and got stuck, despite it being very obvious from the signage, road markings and eventually a lack of suitable ground to drive on that you shouldn’t be driving there.

Agreed that a bollard would definitely help here but it worries me to the state of mind of some of the drivers on our roads. Surely it was obvious that an already narrow path was narrowing further and to stop before wedging your large car between a bench and a fence?!

I see painted cycle lanes regularly being adopted by drivers as parking free here too 🙁 Unfortunately if people think they can get away with parking somewhere, they’ll just do it.

Painting the road is not not enough when it comes to proper cycling infrastructure. The lanes need to be properly protected from the where the cars are and parking regulations need to be enforced properly as well. This includes people blocking good portion of a pavement with their car, another thing which is common here too 🙁
