It clearly says “typically”, which includes the software that does open source the code.


Open source means that the source code is…open, that everyone can view and use it, it doesn’t mean that everyone can contribute to it. Or am I wrong?

I don’t like the comment “this is why people say the open source ecosystem sucks” because a bankruptcy of a company has nothing to do with the concept of open source.
