What if the point of AI is to have it create a personal model for each of us, using the vast amounts of our data they have access to, in order to manipulate us into buying and doing whatever the people who own it want but they can’t just come out and say that?

This is an example of resistance as culture. It might be a small act but it demonstrates the point.
I think that’s something that could work. Things like fashion to mess with facial recognition. Movies or tasks to mess with our algorithms. Distracting facsists with a flag. Culturally, capitalism feeds on the creativity of leftists type people and always has done. We can’t feed it anti-capitalism because that just feeds it. So, we have to make fucking with the machine the culture itself and offer something they never can: warmth, community and authenticity.
So true and it’s a great to remind them of that sort of thing.
You know, you’d think all of the people who say it’s purely down to genetics would be natural allies with, you know, molecular biologists (applied genetics). They’d be all like “it’s a Y chromosome or nothing” and the biologists would be all like “yeah chromosomes!” because we fucking love chromosomes but no. In fact, it’s noticeably absent when you start to think about it.
I wonder why that might be?
The short answer is “because it’s infinitely more complicated than that.”
Just because you carry the genetic code for anything at all, it doesn’t mean you’ll express it. The default setting for our DNA is off. So, if something isn’t telling it to transcribe, it won’t do it. A whole load of reasons could cause that, even before we get to mutations and partial expression or chimeras etc.
Anyway, what i mean is yeah, this meme!
Edit: also, don’t beleive the AI. Early fetuses are female, until the Y is activated. You could have an inactivated Y and the fetus could be a woman capable of having children. The default setting is female, not intersex. It could be either but unless a specific event happens, it will always be female. It’s a subtle but important difference. This means that all fetuses are female and then turn into a male.
No worries, I’m sure done worse this week alone.
Yeah, Koine Greek is common Greek, at the time. In my defense, its unlikely that they would’ve called it ancient Greek back then 😁.
So, to me, it i would figure that he would’ve spoken common Greek, in the way they use English in India, back in the days of the British empire. Of course, there’s no way to be sure of that. Either way, anything approaching primary documents would’ve been in Greek, to a point where it might not even matter what language Jesus actually used.

It’s not just that they’re hiding the people involved, it’s that it’s currently being used to blackmail people.
I mean, they should release them. I’m just saying there’s even more bad stuff they’re doing, on top of it all.
Where did you get that idea from?
Greek was the lingua franka of the Eastern med and his first language would’ve been aramaic. So, why would he ignore his first and second languages, to speak Turkish to a Jewish and roman audience?

Mark 14:51, 52. The actual ancient Greek is quite clear about the practically naked young (pre-pubescent being the closest comparative term) boy. They all would’ve been conversing in ancient Greek and the earliest records of the bible are in ancient Greek.
Here’s another thing to think about. How old do you reckon the disciples were? Imagine, if you will, that our kneejerk answer comes from Renaissance era paintings and those alone and you need to aim the number significantly south of that. They were not older than Jesus.
Sadly, the police officer got back up.

Never ask a trumper why they dont want the Epstein files released,
Big bird why they never got cookie monster any help
Or, a Christian what Jesus was doing with that partially dressed young boy in the garden of gethsemane and why Peter, James and John had to keep watch for him, from a distance.
Help, I can’t see my baby. I put them down on the grass and now they’re gone!

Wizard: I shall also wear armour.
Fantasy lore: no, you can’t wear that.
Wizard: why? I’m going to be fighting too. I don’t want to get stabbed by the first guy I see and die.
Fantasy lore: no, it wouldn’t be fair on the giant dragon or the deamons I’m sending you to fight. Enjoy your robe.
Fake Italian. Olive oil just makes them stronger.

undergroundoverground@lemmy.worldtoPolitical Memes@lemmy.world•The rich are ruining our world2·5 days agoI get what you’re saying but I’m not sure the choice is as chosen (for want of a better term). People are given just enough to lose, if they try to buck the system. Almost everyone is an informant. Especially at work.
For sure, they can’t neutralise everyone but they only have the neutralise a certain amount. I’m not talking about people like you and me who refuse to question the first things we were ever told about the world.
Docile and subservient to a ruling class. I’d say, through no fault of their own, gen z has been psy-oped since they were born. They would be the best example now.
I understand and feel the same frustration that I think would lead to the conclusion you came to. I don’t think you’re stupid or crazy for thinking it. If you’re saying it in terms of “no ones coming to save us. The working class won’t rise up in glorious revolution” then i think we’re on the same chapter, if not the same page.
It’s so refreshing to have a civil disagreement with someone. Considering the state of the rest of the Internet, I always like to show any third party who might read this that the above is how it could be.
undergroundoverground@lemmy.worldtoPolitical Memes@lemmy.world•The rich are ruining our world6·9 days agoWith the first comment, you seem to be making out as if it’s a choice we made, to have the worst of humanity rule over us.
The reality is, the worst of humanity forced themselves on us and we’ve had little to no choice over the matter. If we voted for good people and only bought from good people, the bad people would simply neutralise them.
Billionaires do NOT reflect the general population. They manipulate the general population into their preferred image which, I can agree, might look similar.

Also, no one thinks advertising works on them. So, I’m sure you don’t believe it 👍
