That’s fair. We do get lots of Saw backstory in Clone Wars, Rebels & Bad Batch. I was just focusing more on the live action Forest Whitaker version.
I also have a hard time seeing them as all the same character. Possibly because the storyline is told over such a long period and since I watched Rogue One before Clone Wars / Rebels, told out of order.
The more you think about it, I want less of a “Saw” miniseries, and more of a “Rebel Leaders” miniseries. Andor covers Andor, Luthen & Mon. Between Andor and Rogue One we get where Saw is now (and his end). Rebels gives us Hera (and crew), although we don’t see them during the Episode IV era, and it looks like their story is post Jedi in Ahsoka. I have to guess we could get something from Omega (Bad Batch), although I don’t know if she would be high up in command.
I feel like it’s weird your comment didn’t mention Rebels. Don’t ignore it just because it’s a cartoon.

I dunno really. Lots of areas to tell story.
