ICE to start kidnapping Canadians in Canada and stranding them in US border states so they have to spend money to get home.
Then, when the Canadians are in line at the border, just about to cross back into Canada, ICE beats, detains, and deports them to El Salvador!

I was going to point out that Maine went to Kamala but the race was closer there than it should have been. Rural Maine I guess?
It’s almost always the rural areas - they tend to be 99% white, uneducated, and bombarded by conservative media.
The day I’m no longer watching the news for early warning signs that America is gearing up to make us their Sudetenland is the day I’ll start giving a shit how individual Americans voted. Until then, every one of them can get absolutely and utterly fucked.
Is that fair? No, it’s not. But it’s also not fair that I’m having to make plans for not getting bombed. I do not owe Americans fairness. Not anymore.
