We dont get to celebrate the highs together and we dont get to support each other through the lows. We are all being mixed unevenly and it’s creating a non-homogenius mixture.

Interesting take on the highs and lows. I get so frustrated looking up information without bias. Like there were midterms and I had to go to like the 6th page of search engine to get to just straight facts. Not “republicans lost, democrats swept, here’s why it’s a big deal” bullshit. I just want the facts let me make the conclusions myself.

    I blame religion. Specifically, faith

The definition of faith is “belief without evidence”

People who elevate this as a virtue, will be unable to have a shared reality. It will always be centered on whatever narrative is popular with your in-group.

Faith is not a virtue. It is the destroyer of civilization.

I agree. But on the other hand, it also means mass-manipulation should, in theory, become more complicated.

Just the opposite in practice, ofc, thanks to AIs and algos that slice and dice demographics and do A/B testing on meme penetration
