I went to Rosenmontag (Carnaval) in Freiburg yesterday. First of all, while waiting for the train on the way back a sudden thunderstorm had people squealing and running for cover. Then a hailstorm broke loose just as people got on the train so we all ended up with a neck full of hail. We got on the train with one of the Carnaval groups from Bad Krozingen, which regaled us to a rendition of “Schwarzwald Marie” on the way back.
I suppose you had to be drunk to find it funny.
Matt McCusker’s “Speed of Light” comedy special on youtube got me real good yesterday. Still need to watch his Netflix special.
Lunar new year is a good excuse to be lazy and roll in bed
Met a ten year old who is waaaay better than me at video games, and he only gets to play on Friday evenings. The kids are alright.
