DON’T. Cricut’s software is the worst shit I’ve used in my life, and I’ve been on computers since the VIC-20. Also, you have to be connected to the internet to use it as every time it’s launched it requires an update. Machine itself is solid.
I have a Silhouette Cameo, and I love it. I’ve heard several people with cricut machines say they “couldn’t figure out” the software for it, but I’ve always been a bit of a tech nerd & I’ve never had a problem with it. No Internet connection needed.
