Might also be a software issue. My lemmy client won’t allow me to zoom all the way to individual pixels. Completely different story on a proper computer where the user is the biggest limitation.
It’s not very intuitive on desktop browser either. Clicking expands the image and clicking a second time collapses it again. That appears to be the end of it.
But if the second click is done within the expanded image (after the first click), that opens the image in a separate window. But then a third click is needed to zoom (if available).
My camera has a prime lens. Thought I had cropped it enough.
