        It actually is. Very much so. But it’s increasingly expensive as people demand things like a fair wage for their work.

          I hate to break it to you, but wages have become less and less fair. The person who created these plates may have been able to support a family on a single income.

          They are increasingly expensive because the people at the top are demanding a higher and higher proportion of the income.

            I’m well aware. And it’s also because it takes a lot to live now. A friend of mine is a farmer and does ceramics. Her stuff is expensive, and beautifully made. Real craft takes time and time is labor.
