    The purchase history has to be older than the stream controller, so those bots are not eligeable (requirement is April, controller released on may).

    The bot/scalper problem wasn’t such an issue before. The deck oled had stock for many days in my region.

    In theory they are already prioritizing old/verified accounts, demand is just much higher than supply.

    I hope you get lucky with you place on the wait list, I think this was the best solution to a very shitty situation.

    I didn’t get it two of my friends did.

      Steam controller already had that requirement for an older purchase though. You couldn’t buy the Steam Controller with a new account. So yes, any that were eligible to buy the controller were eligible for the Steam Frame lottery.

        The frame requirement is not the same as the controller.

        The controller had as retirement any previous purchase. The frame has a purchase before April. So there will be users/bots who bought the controller and are not eligeable for the frame.
