I don’t have sources but I believe National Guard and Marines have done their best to not mix it up with civilians.
Local PD and ICE, less so.
My point is — what if Trump threw a riot and no one showed up? Or, even better, the “rioters” and National Guard had a party instead, and Trump wasn’t invited?

What if we protested by giving the military milk and cookies and played games with them?
