I will always teach my kids to stand up for others and punch those that support Nazi beliefs.
I mean, the British helped to make us
Late-stage dementia patients typically lose a lot of weight, even among those whose diets are monitored. Combined with the drugs he’s on, I think they’re doing everything they can to keep him alive so he can soak up as much negative press before/if Vance takes over.

Repaired a TV I found on the sidewalk, paper taped to it said free so mine it was. It’s a FireTV which, have awful designs, but are decent TVs if you have a Prime account already.
But it was a 1hr, $40 backlight job, complete with additional grievances against Amazon. My partner acted like I was a wizard when we were able to watch a movie on it lol

That’s fair, though they’re trying to make a profit by convincing us that we have to buy new designer clothing instead of used clothing that is less fragile.

Exactly. Germans are stylish, generally. They don’t need a Nazi for that shit. It’s just that most Germans are also relatively environmentally conscious. Aber scheint nicht so beim Auto
Then he could enact the legislation he always wanted since 2007, and also restore the rule of law.

Love Boston culture. It’s like a drunk Irishman, an angry Jamaican, and an intelligent Rob Gronkowski all in one

I live in Boston. The Greater Boston region genuinely cares more about education than any of other place I’ve lived in the US. Keep in mind that studying here, at any of the Universities, for higher education is ridiculously expensive - partly because so many people compete to be here.
Things like these are why we need to fund higher education. A knowledgeable populace brings innovation, a healthy economy, and diversity which creates a feedback loop for all of it

Been registered as Independent since 2015. I was able to choose my ballots back then so I always voted Democrat. Then I moved, same thing. Democrats may have some party members that represent my ideals - surprisingly a couple of my own State’s Representatives - but the party as a whole can fuck off.
I hope the Millenial and Gen Z populace that is politically involved can actually bring unity to the DNC, but I don’t have faith when there’s 1 party that’s an umbrella for ideals and beliefs and 1 party that is wholly unified against non-whites and non-christians
Edit: I remember when I went to Uni, a few people invited me to a couple TPUSA rallies because of some of my hatred towards the DNC. I remember telling them hell no, because Democrats are mostly too conservative for me, so anything TPUSA represents is just vile

Lmao sounds like where I grew up in Mississippi. Farmers everywhere, but quite a few Mennonites and Amish too

Yep. There are a lot of people out there, each with their own lives and schedules. Work isn’t the only thing in life people have to deal with, and responsibilities don’t end when one retires.
The past tense of “shut” is “shat”
As long as it doesn’t emit toxic gases, I’m all for it. So many old kitchen appliances are borderline unbreakable
No mucho, sólo nos gustan esa naranja madura demasiado
Considering the US violated treaties to destroy land with significant spiritual significance just to capture the Six Grandfathers and turn it into Mount Rushmore, it would absolutely be for the best.

This is horseshit. Boomers may be more strict about being there at a certain time, but they don’t give two shits if you come in early or stay late.
I can’t tell you how many times I or my Gen-Z coworkers would stay an extra 2-3hrs (or I would come in early) and none of that even mattered the day we come in a little late. Any other bosses and it’s no issue, but fucking boomers seem to care more about being at work at a certain time rather than how much anyone actually works.
I don’t think many Professors or Universities structure online programs well. In my experience, many tried to structure online courses the same way as traditional courses - but that defeats the whole point of an online.
I worked while I was student, so I did a lot of onlines before the pandemic. The best courses were were completely self-paced, communications were conducted via email, and any video-calling or meetings were held at an agreed time, even if it was at night. The professors usually were working in their respective fields in some way as well as teaching. Some either understood how it works and how to teach it, some didn’t (and were absolutely terrible to have.)
But regardless, you have to want to know the material and to go the extra mile for your studies, online or not. It is seriously an expensive, and stressful, privilege. So go at your own pace so you’ll do well and not experience burnout and other issues, but don’t waste your time and money. Just do what’s right for you.
