This is both untrue and misguided. Hospitals can and will send unpaid bills to collections.

What you’re probably thinking is that unpaid medical bills can’t appear on your credit report, and that is true.

I’d also argue that not all hospitals are evil and in fact sometimes the high bills are because healthcare actually is expensive.

A better option than not paying is to go to the hospital and ask for help. Most hospitals will work with you if you can’t pay.

My three kids are in their 20’s. Assuming there are no weapons involved, I’d say they’re safe with any of them.

Bin Laden, Hitler, and Combs would each have a rough night. Lindsay would probably be ok. If necessary, they could restrain her without injuring her.

You know that, and I know that, but I have the feeling neither of us is on the Supreme Court.

Something tells me that every illegal thing President Pedophile does is an official act as President.

Of course, we don’t have to worry, because the Supreme Court will stop him. /s

The Supreme Court ruled that the president is above the law. The only way to permanently reverse that without destroying everything is with a Constitutional Amendment.

I don’t care about the Whitehouse. I don’t care about The Kennedy Center. I don’t care about the arch or the reflecting pool.

Assuming there’s anything left at the end of his term, the first thing we should do is pass an amendment establishing that no one is above the law. If a president breaks the law, he should have justice.

Maybe that will make some kind of difference. Nothing less than Trump and his co-conspirators rotting in prison will save the U.S.

Maybe it isn’t worth saving. I used to think we were on a path to some day live up to our hype. However, I don’t see it anymore.

A work colleague is the president of his HOA board. I get to hear about the other side of the conflicts.

I’m only hearing his side, but the things he tells me about make it seem like some of his neighbors are just idiots.

Like people parking in no-parking areas that are supposed to be kept clear for emergency vehicle access. He’s warned people that they can’t park there, and they treat it like he’s being a fascist. He just doesn’t want to hear their bitching when they get towed.

There’s a rule about not being on or near the power transformer. The reason is because people could be injured. However, when he tells someone to keep their kids off it, he’s being a tyrant.

He’s only the president of the HOA board because no one else wants the job. He’s not running around issuing fines because he doesn’t have time for that shit.

People threaten to sue the HOA for bullshit, and he’s baffled. It’s like they think there’s some income stream apart from the fees they pay. If they sue the HOA, they are suing themselves and their neighbors.

I always think about him when I read people complaining about their HOA.

Don’t get me wrong, I would never buy a property in an HOA, but if they do, it’s not like they’re helpless. They can read the rules, organize a resistance, vote the fascists out. They can take charge. They can show everyone how much better their leadership would be.

Yeah. I learned about it from my father in law.

Because humans are pretty good at recognizing where you’re looking. If you’re staring intently at someone’s ear while you’re talking to them, it will look to them like you’re seeing something behind them. The fact that you’re not looking away will cause them to be concerned about what it is.

A bunch of people used this on me.

It started small. “Can I have something to eat?”, “Can you take me to the doctor?”, “Could you change my diaper?”, next thing I know I’m paying college tuition.
