  • Is that the point? or is the point undermining slavery as an institution to demonstrate how much you hate your current existence? Do you think you could have used a better metaphor than slavery? For example Trump likes to think of himself as a king, that makes you a serf. Are we closer to feudalism than slavery? Idk lol how is any of this helpful or relevant to you? Are we more like peasants or slaves? When you’re done figuring that out, whatcha gonna do about it?

  • Them customers can be some real crackers I tell you! Last week I was tied up to a post and whipped for 12 straight hours before they chopped off my son’s foot, raped my daughter and sold her to a new owner. This capitalism is just like slavery indeed!

Anyway it’s a poor analogy because America isn’t a capitalist country, we’re an upside down socialist country where wealth is heavily redistributed from the bottom up. We take good care of our needy billionaires, the poor vulnerable .01%. The minority that matters the most.

  • So Collins district is pretty heavily skewed to republicans. Which is why the democrats have selected our current governor who is 77 years young, to run for this seat. She is widely hated by the voters in that district so It should keep Collins in there for another 6 years. Collins is a spring chicken at 73 years young, and will be able to get 12 more years out of her selling out our country. Mills will get a lot of establishment democrats and their money to back her, and it will further drive the voting base into collins loving arms.

  • Yea I don’t think that they should die or kill themselves. I just deeply appreciate the fact that they’d rather die than spend time in a prison system they created. Or maybe that had a strong enough sense of shame to off themselves, like a samurai. I find that respectable too. I just appreciate them being held accountable. Side effects may vary.

  • The last time we were close to fulfilling is a democracy is when we were instituting civil rights, workers rights, and social security. Idk the 1990s was kind of weird and cool. It was the sweet fruit of all that work right before it would go to rot. We still support our democratic ideals at a local level. At least us small town people, who are too insignificant to attract the attention of an establishment party. We can still vote for our neighbors to run the show.

  • Yea I just don’t see it happening under the current leadership. Like can you really imagine the democrats respecting democracy again? Sitting at the table with all their donors and piles of money like…

“Do you think we should allow more local candidates to primary for important seats? Should we allow our congress to become a bunch of people who act and vote on behalf of their constituents interests instead of their party. Should the age of our leadership reflect the age of voting base? Should we be fostering more young leaders and replacing sitting congress people before they shit themselves to death in a seat of power?”

We’ll get to see what policy platforms they push this fall, and the bar for my expectations is in hell.

  • No personally I don’t think his crime was horrendous, and I certainly wouldn’t end my life over the repercussions he faced. Point is he did a political corruption and paid the ultimate price, and I think that is good. The consequences of betraying the public trust should be life changing. Most of these cowards would rather die then have to live by the laws they create. I think that’s wonderful for all of us.

  • Lmaooo im just skim reading this and second highest in recorded history. Bro gtfoh. is that by voter participation or due to the fact the country’s population and eligible voter base was the highest it’s been in recorded history? Im not gonna read the rest of the shit because I literally credit the non-voters for winning the election. I just pointed fun at the 1.5% of the country that voted 3rd party on some fringe issues that you made up in your imagination. Now go ahead and type more disingenuous bullshit aint no one gonna read. Voter participation vs turn out lol. tough to differentiate these concepts I know.
